VOC catalytic combustion equipment is a typical gas-solid phase catalytic reaction, which is essentially a scale oxidation reaction involving reactive oxygen species. In the process of catalytic purification, the role of the catalyst is to reduce the activation energy, and at the same time, the surface of the catalyst has adsorption, which enriches the reactant molecules on the surface and increases the reaction rate, accelerating the progress of the reaction; With the help of catalysts, organic waste gas can undergo flameless combustion at lower ignition temperatures, and be oxidized and decomposed into CO2 and H2O, while releasing a large amount of heat energy, thus achieving the method of removing unwanted substances from the waste gas.
VOC catalytic combustion equipment is suitable for treating organic waste gas with low air volume and high concentration. It is often used in conjunction with activated carbon adsorption technology. The activated carbon carbon attachment device concentrates high air volume and low concentration organic waste gas into low air volume and high concentration organic waste gas, which meets the conditions for the use of catalytic purification equipment.
The VOC catalytic combustion equipment consists of five subsystems: dry filtration system, activated carbon adsorption system, catalytic combustion system, electrical control system, and ventilation duct system.
1. Dry filtration system: including filter box, drawer, filter material, etc. This is a medium efficiency filtration system, and the air source entering the adsorption box is clean, dry, and particle free;
2. Activated carbon adsorption system: including adsorption box body, activated carbon, pressure relief device, temperature sensor, fire sprinkler device, instrument valve, etc.
3. Catalytic combustion device: including device body, electric heating preheating chamber, catalytic combustion heat storage chamber, pressure relief device, temperature sensor, connecting pipeline valves, instruments, catalyst, etc.
4. Electrical control system: including electrical cabinets PLC、 Touch screen, on-site instruments, and conduit, etc.
5. Pipes and fans, all connecting pipes are made of industrial galvanized sheet metal.
Working principle of VOC catalytic combustion equipment:
VOC catalytic combustion equipment is an exothermic reaction, and the amount of heat released depends on the type and content of organic matter. It is an economical operating method to maintain the continuous catalytic combustion process by relying on the reaction heat of exhaust gas combustion. Whether the normal reaction of the self heating maintenance system can be maintained depends on the heat released during the combustion process, the ignition temperature of the catalyst, the heat recovery rate, the initial temperature of the exhaust gas, and other conditions. The corresponding ignition temperatures of the catalyst are 200 ℃, 250 ℃, and 300 ℃; The initial temperatures of the exhaust gas are 30 ℃ and 150 ℃, respectively. The higher the initial temperature of the exhaust gas, the higher the concentration of organic matter in the exhaust gas, and the greater the possibility of achieving self heating operation. The residual amount of organic matter in industrial organic waste gas of about 5000mg/m3 is common. As long as the heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger can reach 50% -60%, the heat exchanger can be used to recover the combustion reaction heat to maintain the continuous catalytic combustion.
The pollution factors in the odorous gases of VOC catalytic combustion equipment are fully decomposed. Advantages: Small footprint, low investment, and low operating costs; Easy to manage, ready to use. Disadvantages: Good performance load, not easily affected by changes in pollutant concentration and temperature, requiring a certain amount of consumption. With the continuous development of society and the medical industry, and the continuous growth of chemical enterprises, the pollution problems caused by chemical industry are becoming increasingly serious. Organic waste gas is easily generated in the research and production process of the chemical industry. Due to the complex chemical composition of waste gas, if it is not strictly controlled and treated, a large amount of stable performance waste gas will threaten the lives of surrounding people. Therefore, feasible strategies should be developed to address its issues and reduce the losses caused by chemical pollution. After the control and treatment of chemical waste gas by relevant departments, there have been significant practical effects, but they have not been well improved. There are still obvious problems in the treatment of organic waste gas in the chemical industry. Some chemical waste gas companies seriously pollute the air.
The working process of the electrical control system for VOC catalytic combustion equipment is divided into three states: burner working state, stop state, and parameter setting state. In the working state, it is divided into ignition process and combustion process. The temperature is detected by the installed thermocouple and displayed on a text monitor.
