Converter secondary dust removal equipment


The secondary dust removal equipment for converter includes related equipment such as converter dust removal, refining dust removal, and tank folding dust removal. Once there is a power outage or a broken ash transport chain in the dust removal system, it will directly affect the entire dust removal effect. To this end, the Second Steel Rolling Plant fully utilizes the intelligence and wisdom of its employees, optimizes the electrical system for the secondary dust removal of the converter, and installs a UPS uninterruptible power supply system. The UPS is used to supply power to the PLC, and the UPS power supply circuit is separately powered, separated from the original maintenance lighting power supply. The equipment has a chain break automatic detection system. The installation of this system can promptly issue an alarm signal and shut down the drive motor in case of chain breakage, preventing the equipment failure from escalating.
The secondary dust removal equipment system of the converter mainly solves the problem of smoke and dust generated during the mixing of molten iron, the addition of scrap steel, the tilting of steel, and slag removal in the converter. The secondary flue gas of the converter is mainly composed of smoke and dust generated during the mixing of molten iron.
40-60% of the smoke is iron oxide, while the rest is graphite powder and oxides of silicon, calcium, and magnesium, with a particle size distribution of 10-40um and 11%; 40~60um 13%; <60um margin. The large amount of smoke and dust released during the mixing of molten iron is 60-70g/t of molten iron. We need to install a dust removal system for treatment, and our company has designed a long bag pulse dust collector.
The following measures are taken for the secondary dust removal equipment of the converter:
(1) The secondary dust removal equipment of the converter adopts a long bag low-pressure pulse dust collector.
(2) Directly add the air volume of the converter feeding dust removal system to the secondary flue gas bag dust removal system of the converter to achieve cooling effect, so that the flue gas temperature at the inlet of the bag dust collector is lower than 120 ℃.
Dust removal bags are expensive and can cool the flue gas temperature to below 120 ℃. The design incorporates the dust removal air volume of the converter feeding system into the pulse bag filter for secondary dust removal in the converter steelmaking process. On the one hand, it directly reduces the flue gas temperature of the system, and on the other hand, it also solves the dust removal problem of the converter feeding system. Using the dust removal air volume of the converter feeding system as cold air, direct air cooling means entering cold air directly into the high-temperature flue gas for cooling and entering the bag filter. According to the heat balance formula, to reduce the temperature of the converter secondary flue gas from 220 ℃ to 120 ℃, 227803m3/h of cold air needs to be infiltrated, which is the dust removal air volume of the converter feeding system.
